Till Briegleb (born 1962 in Munich) studies political sciences and German in Hamburg. Since 1991 culture editor of the newspaper Tageszeitung in Hamburg, from 1997 to 2002 culture editor of the weekly paper Die Woche. Afterwards, he wrote for various newspapers and magazines as a freelance author until 2006 when he became the editor-in-chief of the art magazine art. He has been employed at the Süddeutsche Zeitung and art since 2007. He publishes texts about architecture, art, cultural history and theatre. His last publication was Die diskrete Scham (Insel-Verlag). He lives in Hamburg.
